The class prepares all total joint patients for their surgery by discussing where they are now, the night before surgery, the day of surgery, recovery, and leaving the hospital. It is an excellent opportunity to network, ask questions, have concerns clarified, involve family as support. The class introduces equipment, does a medication reconciliation.
