Atlantic General Hospital Offers Grief Counseling During the Holidays

With the good cheer and familial interactions of Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanzaa comes sadness for many who have lost a loved one. Atlantic General Hospital’s pastoral care department is offering a series of events to lend support this holiday season.

Thanksgiving for Life Memorial Service for those we Love and Miss
Thursday, November 20 – 2:30 p.m.
Atlantic General Hospital Chapel, second floor
This service is to offer thanksgiving and remembrances for those we love who have passed on.

Grief Support Group for the Holidays
Wednesday, November 26 – 7 p.m.
Atlantic General Hospital, Conference Room 1
We will discuss ways to cope with grief during the holidays.

Children’s Grief Support Group
Wednesday, December 17 – 7 p.m.
Atlantic General Hospital, Conference Room 1
We will decorate holiday ornaments and read the story of “Until We Meet Again.”
