Jane-h wa Huang, Dedicated Pharmacist – Unlike many cancer treatment centers, we maintain a dedicated pharmacist onsite to ensure that the correct chemotherapy infusion mixtureare available for patients before they come in for treatment. This eliminates the possibility for errors and also ensures that there are no long delays or waiting for treatment. The pharmacist is on hand to answer any questions that patients or their caregivers may have before, during, and after infusion treatments.
Jane-hwa Huang came to Atlantic General Hospital from Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD to work in the Outpatient Infusion Center. In her role as dedicated oncology pharmacist, Jane-Hwa will oversee infusion treatments and address any questions or concerns patients or their family members may have about treatment and medications. She has been a hospital pharmacist for more than 20 years and many years of clinical experience with variety patient populations such as neonates, pediatrics, adult cancer, hospice and home care patients. She has dedicated the past seven years to oncology, and has been a clinical assistant professor for the University of Maryland’s pharmacy department as well as the preceptor for the residents at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Jane-hwa graduated from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy cum laude and received PharmD summa cum laude from the University of Florida and is board-certified as a pharmacotherapy specialist by the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.

Prior to joining Atlantic General, Polly was the Outpatient Infusion Supervisor at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. She has more than 10 years of nursing experience, with the last five years devoted to cancer care.

Lorraine Truitt, Financial Counselor
Lorraine Truitt serves as the financial counselor for the Outpatient Infusion Center, where she assists patients with setting up payment plans and identifying sources of funding if they are unable to pay the bills that result from their cancer treatments. Lorraine joined Atlantic General in 1995, when she worked as the hospital’s first full-time cashier.
