Heart Health Month 2025

Atlantic General Hospital, in partnership with area healthcare organizations, will offer a variety of activities in recognition of Heart Month this February. We invite you to take part in these events and learn more about keeping your heart healthy.


Menopause & Heart Disease

A discussion with Gynecologist Christine Neto, MD: Alyce Marzola, population health manager at Atlantic General Hospital, discusses the link between menopause and heart disease with Dr. Christine Neto, board-certified OB/GYN and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner at Atlantic General Women’s Health.


HeartSmart Screenings

TidalHealth offers free HeartSmart Screenings at various locations during the month of February. Call 410-543-7026 to schedule an appointment.

Heart Month Scavenger Hunt

Feb. 15-16
8 am-5 pm

The Worcester County Health Department invites the public to visit Cypress (101 Clarke Avenue, Pocomoke), Byrd (400 Dighton Avenue, Snow Hill) and/or Stephen Decatur Parks (Rte 113 and Tripoli Street, Berlin) in Worcester County on Feb. 15 and 16 to locate heart health messages. Free registration is available starting Jan. 27 at worcesterhealth.eventbrite.com.


No-cost, hands-only CPR training

These classes will be provided by Dr. Zachary Townsend, assistant professor of exercise science at Salisbury University. Register for either class at worcesterhealth.eventbrite.com.
