“Bikes and Boo's on the Boards” is a brand new event that will celebrate the Future of Atlantic General Hospital in support of the $10,000,000 Atlantic General Campaign for the Future. This event will take place on the Ocean City Boardwalk on Sunday, October 27th, starting on Wicomico Street in front of Bearded Clam and Cork Bar with an Award Party at The Bearded Clam following the event.

To date, the Foundation has received over $8,134,000 in grants, pledges and commitments toward our $10,000,000 goal. Some details of our progress have been in the news and social media throughout the year, including the openings of the new Atlantic General Women’s Health Care Center in West Ocean City and, most recently, the John H. 'Jack' Burbage, Jr. Regional Cancer Care Center on Atlantic General’s main campus in Berlin.
These are huge achievements, but there is a great deal more involved in the Campaign. Upgrades are planned for every major section of the hospital. The other projects included in the Campaign are the modernization of the inpatient care center, expansion of the emergency department and modernization of the surgical facilities including building a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center for our community. The plans for the upgrades to these areas are both exciting and impressive.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL, WE NEED THE SUPPORT OF EVERYONE IN THE COMMUNITY. YOUR COMMUNITY HOSPITAL WILL NEED FINANCIAL SUPPORT FROM EACH RESIDENT, BUSINESS AND VISITOR AS THESE PROJECTS WILL NOT ONLY BENEFIT ALL OF US, BUT WILL BE A LASTING GIFT TO OUR CHILDREN AND FUTURE GENERATIONS.
WITH THE FLEXIBILITY TO SPREAD A COMMITMENT OUT OVER FIVE YEARS, WE WANT TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR EVERYONE TO SUPPORT THIS VITAL CAMPAIGN.
