Dr. Ellen Rowe is a native of Sussex County. She received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Services and Medical Ethics from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, where she also played Division 1 Field Hockey for 4 years. She received a Master of Science in Biomedical Science from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014. She graduated from medical school in 2018 from St. George’s University School of Medicine, where she was president of the Women in Medicine organization and member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She completed her residency at VCU-Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American Medical Women’s Association and the American College of Physicians. She is board-certified in Family Medicine.

Wendy Corkran, CRNP, joined Atlantic General Health System in March 2022 to provide primary care to the communities of southeastern Sussex County, Delaware. After providing patient care for more than 13 years as a registered nurse, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Wilmington University in 2017 to become a family nurse practitioner.
