Free Screenings Offered at Pocomoke City Health Fair

Residents of lower Worcester County who are concerned about high cholesterol,
diabetes or prostate cancer can take advantage of the free screenings
that will be offered at the Pocomoke City Health Fair to be held on Saturday,
May 20, 2006. The health fair, sponsored by Atlantic General Hospital
and the Worcester County Health Department, will take place at the Lower
Shore YMCA from 8 a.m. until noon.
In addition to cholesterol and glucose screenings and PSAs offered from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., attendees can participate in free oral cancer, blood pressure, pulse-ox and other screenings. Eight-hour fasting is required for the cholesterol and glucose tests.
