Diane Brinker, executive assistant in the Public Relations Department at
Atlantic General Hospital, was recently elected as the 2006-2007 Vice
President of the Small Wonder Chapter of the International Association
of Administrative Professionals (IAAP).
Diane joined Atlantic General Hospital as an executive administrative assistant in 2002 after leaving a position as executive assistant in the communications department at the Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Institute in Arlington, Va. She holds an associates degree in business administration technology from Delaware Technical Community College, and has twelve years of experience in banking. She is currently receiving training for the Certified Administrative Professionals Examination, the accepted standard of proficiency recognized in the field.
The IAAP is a not-for-profit professional association whose purpose is to provide information, education, and training and to set standards of excellence recognized by the business community on a global perspective. The IAAP has approximately 40,000 members and affiliates and nearly 600 chapters worldwide.
