AGH Foundation Gears up for Fall Golf Class

Event sponsorships and team registration now being accepted With the month of July drawing to a close, the Atlantic General Hospital Foundation’s 14th Annual Fall Golf Classic is just around the corner. Scheduled for Thursday, September 27, 2007, the event will be held once again at the Ocean City Golf Club.
Last year’s tournament brought 176 golfers to the greens, raising more than $56,000 for Atlantic General Hospital, and event planners are again raising the bar for a successful and enjoyable day on the courses.
Once again, the title sponsor for the Fall Golf Classic will be Carousel Resort Hotel and Condominiums, but additional event sponsorship opportunities are available.
Team sponsorships are $1,000, and tee sponsorships are $150. The Newport Bay and Seaside cart/greens fees sponsorships are $3,000. Golfers will have a choice of two formats during the one o’clock tournament: Best Ball on Newport Bay and Scramble on Seaside.
Eunice Sorin is this year’s lunch sponsor. Mercantile Peninsula/PNC is sponsoring the 19th hole reception, and Carrabba’s Italian Grill of West Ocean City will provide dinner at the post-tournament banquet. Dough Roller Restaurant is sponsoring the hospitality cart on the Seaside course, and Comcast Spotlight is sponsoring the hospitality cart for the Newport Bay course.
