Atlantic General Hospital Honors its Volunteers, Receives Donation

Atlantic General Hospital and Health System recognized the hard work and
dedication of its volunteers during the annual Auxiliary Awards luncheon
held at the Clarion Resort Fountainbleu Hotel on May 1. As a whole, the
Auxiliary donated more than 36,000 hours of their time in 2006.
More than 170 volunteers received awards according to the number of hours they served. Sally Monaghan, Auxiliary past president, received an award for donating 1600 hours of her time to the hospital, the most time contributed by any one Auxiliary member in 2006.

Even while they were being honored the Auxiliary continued to give to the hospital during the event, presenting a check for $50,000 to Atlantic General’s Major Gifts Campaign.
