Have you given thought to joining the team of volunteers at Atlantic General Hospital? The Atlantic General Hospital Auxiliary invites prospective and present volunteers to a coffee and information session to be held at the Ocean Pines Library on September 26 at 9:30 a.m.
The information session will consist of two parts.
• An explanation of what it is to be a volunteer at AGH including
the choice of many departments in which to volunteer, such as the information
desk, emergency, ambulatory surgery unit, Gift Shop, We Care Program,
medical records, Thrift Shop and many more. Volunteers will be available
to answer any questions that you may have.
• Kaaren Hook, a sleep technician from the Sleep Disorders Diagnostic
Center, will describe the function of the Sleep Lab at Atlantic General
Hospital and how it could help you or a spouse with sleeping problems.
Men as well as women are welcome to join the Auxiliary. This is your opportunity to look into donating some of your spare time to the community!
If you have any questions concerning the coffee, please contact Emma Fralley, vice president of the Auxiliary, at 410-208-3184.
