The Andre Lavanceau Memorial Bull Roast Luau, held recently at the Dough
Roller Restaurant in Ocean City, raised more than $4,300 for Atlantic
General Hospital. And the donations are still coming in, according to
Patricia Ilczuk-Lavanceau, host of the event and wife of the late Andre
Lavanceau.
“The food, which was catered by Emings, was great, and it was a fun time,” said Ilczuk-Lavanceau. “I hope to continue this venue as a wrap event to the Penguin Swim. It is very healing for me to be able to do this in my husband’s memory for Atlantic General. Andre truly supported the hospital and its staff, who were so wonderful and helpful to him during his pre- and post-liver transplant. Atlantic General was truly a godsend to us.”
