AGH PENGUIN SWIM RAISES MORE THAN $88,000

The official tally is not in, but event planners for the 18th Annual Penguin
Swim anticipate exceeding their fundraising goal of $88,000. Nearly 1,000
people charged into the Atlantic Ocean at 1 p.m. on New Year’s Day
to raise funds for the Atlantic General Hospital Foundation.
“This was yet again an incredible show of support for AGH from our community. I cannot thank everyone enough – from the event sponsors, to our participants, to our crew of volunteers for making this possible,” said Amy Unger, director of development at Atlantic General Hospital. “And a special thanks to our Event Chair, Patricia Ilczuk-Lavanceau and to Phil Houck from the Bull on the Beach for their efforts to make this our most successful event ever!”
