Atlantic General Hospital Holds Annual Auxiliary Awards Luncheon

Atlantic General Hospital and Health System’s volunteers were honored
recently at the healthcare organization’s annual Auxiliary awards
luncheon. Volunteers who donated between 100 and 1,200 hours of service
to Atlantic General received recognition.
This past year, the AGH Auxiliary donated 38, 966 hours of their time, saving the hospital more than $400,000 in wages and benefits.
In addition to their time, the Auxiliary has also given financial support. Their annual fundraisers and socials have helped fund many projects and services throughout the hospital including the expansion of the emergency department, surgical services, the Atlantic Health Center and the pharmacy along with development of the patient electronic record keeping service and the patient portal.
