AGH PENGUIN SWIM 2018 LAST CALL REMINDER

Berlin, Md.
– We’ve had our first snow of the year, and the leaves are
falling from the trees: You know what that means! It’s time to sign
up for the AGH Penguin Swim! This New Year’s Day marks the 24th
anniversary for the event, which has become a local tradition on the lower
Eastern Shore.
Penguins are encouraged to come wearing costumes for Best Costume Contests. Special recognition awards will be given to Oldest and Youngest Penguins. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies will be awarded to those who raise the most money in divisions for Individuals – Adults and 18 & under, and Teams – Businesses and Community Groups/Organizations and Youth/Family. All registered Penguins will receive an official 2018 AGH Penguin Swim short-sleeve t-shirt. Additional incentive prizes can be earned based on individual fundraising efforts.
Individual and team participants can register online and start collecting donations. In-person registration and check-in is from 10am-12:30pm on the day of the event, with the swim taking place promptly at 1pm. Pre-registration and advance check-in will be also held at Princess Royale on New Year’s Eve from 2-4pm.
