ATLANTIC GENERAL HOSPITAL PROVIDES UPDATE FOLLOWING WORLDWIDE SYSTEM OUTAGE

In light of a major system outage that has affected businesses and organizations around the world, Atlantic General Hospital and Health System will continue to maintain normal operations. This is NOT the result of a cyberattack.

All hospital departments as well as outpatient centers and physician practices are currently functional and operating according to established procedures for planned and unplanned IT downtimes. During this time, patients with scheduled visits, tests and procedures may notice some minor delays as registration processes will take a little longer.

As of 10:45 a.m., the hospital and health system is not closing services. Should this change, patients will be contacted directly to reschedule their appointment times. Additional updates will be provided, should the situation evolve.
