Atlantic General Hospital Weather Announcements and Closings

(BERLIN, Md. – January 5, 2025) Effective 4:00 pm on Sunday, January 5, Atlantic General Hospital implemented their Inclement weather policy.

Atlantic General Hospital announces the following delays, closings and cancellations for Monday, January 6, 2025:

Atlantic General Hospital and emergency department is open.

All Atlantic General Health System Primary Care and Specialty Care offices are closed. (Staff will contact patients to reschedule appointments or procedures)

All elective surgeries and procedures (including endoscopy) are cancelled unless otherwise directed. (Staff will contact patients to reschedule appointments or procedures)

The John H. 'Jack' Burbage, Jr. Regional Cancer Care Center is closed. (Staff will contact patients to reschedule appointments or procedures)

All Outpatient hospital walk-in and scheduled services including lab, imaging and sleep studies at Atlantic General Hospital and the Gudelsky Family Medical Center are closed. (Staff will contact patients to reschedule appointments or procedures)

The AGHRx RediScripts Pharmacy at Atlantic General Hospital will be open. The AGHRx RediScripts Pharmacy at the Gudelsky Family Medical Center will be closed.

Atlantic ImmediCare at Townsend Medical Center will be closed. (Please visit your nearest emergency department)

Notice to AGH Associates:

Essential staff can and should report if they are safely able. Non-essential staff do not need to report. Staff that are remote or have the capabilities to work remote should do so.
