Inclement Weather Update for January 6, 2025

As of 3:00 pm on Monday, January 6, the Atlantic General Hospital Inclement Weather Policy remains in effect.
Atlantic General Hospital and its emergency departments are OPEN. If you must travel, please be safe, and use caution when driving and walking. If you've had an appointment or procedure impacted by recent closings, you will be contacted by staff to reschedule your appointment.
For the safety of patients and staff, the following updates for Tuesday, January 7, 2025 are:
Atlantic General Hospital and emergency department are open.
All Atlantic General Health System primary care and specialty care offices will open at noon. (Staff will contact patients scheduled prior to noon to reschedule appointments or procedures)
All elective surgeries and procedures (including endoscopy) are open regularly scheduled hours.
All outpatient walk-in and scheduled services including imaging, sleep studies and RediScripts Pharmacy at Atlantic General Hospital are open regularly scheduled hours.
The John H. 'Jack' Burbage, Jr. Regional Cancer Care Center will open at noon.(Staff will contact patients scheduled prior to noon to reschedule appointments or procedures)
The outpatient lab and imaging department at the Gudelsky Family Medical Center will remain closed until Wednesday. Walk-in lab patients can visit the outpatient lab at the James G. Barrett Medical Office Building after noon on January 7th. Walk-in x-ray patients can visit the imaging department at Atlantic General Hospital.
The outpatient lab located at the James G. Barrett Medical Office Building and the Atlantic General Women's Imaging Center will open at noon tomorrow. (Staff will contact patients scheduled prior to noon to reschedule appointments or procedures)
The AGHRx RediScripts Pharmacy at the Gudelsky Family Medical Center will be open at noon.
Atlantic ImmediCare at the Townsend Medical Center will open at noon. (Please visit your nearest emergency department prior to that time)
Notice to AGH Associates:
Please familiarize yourself with the AGH Inclement Weather Policy and be sure to make arrangements as necessary. Essential staff should plan to report according to their normal schedule or based on the opening of their offices as per above. Non-essential staff should plan to report on a 4-hour delay. Those working remote or who have the capability to work remotely should plan to do so for the entirety of tomorrow.
